Mount Cutting

Most watercolours, photographs and prints look their best in a mount, depending on the style and image. Over the past 26 years we have learnt through experience what type of mount and colour suits an image the best. We still cut mounts in the traditional manner, whether it be a Single, Double, or triple Mount, Circular, Oval or a multi-aperture. In 2013 we added a Gunnar F1 hybrid mount cutter to our range of machinery.

We offer mount boards from standard through to museum quality for conservation work. Conservation work is one of our specialties, whether it be valuable or something that is important to you. This type of work is necessary when framing valuable works of art which are suspended in a box frame, an understanding of the work being framed is essential.

Special Museum Quality Anti UV Glass, is also something we carry in stock. This prevents Ultra violet light from damaging your artwork and can be either clear or non-reflective, depending where you are going to hang your picture.
